Batteries for Vibrators - The Size Guide

Batteries are everywhere; in remote controls, cameras, cars, watches, and not least, many vibrators! They are your sex toys' life power, so be sure to familiarise yourself with them...

C Batteries

C - These are large, cylindrical batteries, sort of like a big fat version of AA batteries. These are used in some toys that need to use a lot of power.

AA Batteries

AA - No, not me (Avrielle Aniko), AA batteries are the most common size of batteries available and are very easily obtained. These power a wide selection of vibrating sex toys.

AAA Batteries

AAA - These look very much like AA batteries, but are a bit smaller and slimmer. Often used in 'slimline' sex toys as they do not need as much space in the battery compartment as AA batteries do.

N - These look a bit like AA batteries, but shorter (about three-fifths the length). These are used to power some smaller vibrators.

Note: These should not be confused with A23 batteries as, while very similar, there is a size and capacity difference to N batteries.

A23 - Very similar in looks to N batteries, but are slightly smaller. Sometimes used to power small devices that don't need to be constantly on, such as remote controls for some types of vibrators.

LR44 - The most common size of 'watch style' batteries. Being small and compact, they are sometimes used in small bullet or clitoral vibrators. They have a wide variety of different names.
